There are many good options for theological training in the major population centers of South Africa. But, since most rural pastors in South Africa are bi-vocational and extremely poor, access to these institutions is difficult. This is the case for many in Kimberley, where TLI launched a site with pastors and church leaders from the Northern Cape. May the pastors of South Africa be grounded in the Word of God and may their churches be blessed as the Word is opened, preached, and taught each week.

Course 4: Understanding the Gospels (Mark)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course 4 equips the trainees to understand Gospel literature accurately and to communicate it clearly and relevantly. Mark has been chosen as a representative of this genre. Sample passages from Mark will be the focus: e.g. 1:1–15; 2:1–12; 8:27–9:13; 10:32–45; 15–16:8.
